Linking Locos Counting Carriages

Select a card, put it into the integral card holder on the train track and measure the length of the carriages

• Create trains equal in length to those featured on the card using different combinations of carriages and complete the sum on the card.
• Count up to and back from 20 as there is a 20cm gap from the rear of the engine to the end of the track.
• Further tracks can be added in front of the card holder.
• Measure the train length by counting the windows or wheels (spaces are 1cm). The sleepers on the tracks are also 1cm apart.
• 15 double-sided drywipe cards - green side has carriage sizes on the cards, red side has no sizes.
• 4 x 33cm tracks with card holders and 12 tracks without.
• 24 engines, each 6cm long - 4 of each colour (red, green, yellow, blue, orange and purple).
• 96 carriages - 4 x 6 colours in 4 lengths (1cm, 2cm, 4cm and 6cm).
